About

Abagail Carrier

I started The Carrier Firm because I thought injured people deserved the same quality of representation the insurance companies were buying.

How I got here

I built this practice around a straightforward idea: an injured person should get the same standard of preparation that a well-funded opponent buys as a matter of course. That means the footage requested before it overwrites, the records assembled properly, and the file put together as though it is going to be tried.

Injury claims are not evaluated in a vacuum. Insurers assess how a case has been prepared and how likely it is to be pushed, and those judgments get made early. Preparation is not a flourish at the end of a case. It is what sets the number in the first place.

How I practice

  1. Small caseload, direct contact

You work with me. Not an intake team, not a rotating case manager.

  2. Honest assessment first

If you do not have a case worth pursuing, I will say so in the first conversation.

  3. Prepared as though it will be tried

Cases that are ready for trial tend to resolve on better terms. Preparation is the leverage.

Practice

Austin, and the corridor south

The office is in north Austin, and the practice runs down I-35 from Williamson County into Bexar. Close enough to be in the courthouse when it matters, spread wide enough to serve the towns the large firms treat as overflow.
